What you need:

Secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss)

What you get:

Besides receiving theoretical training at a vocational training college, you will gradually be introduced to the skills and knowledge of a skilled process technician and prepared for your final examination. Apprenticeship overview:

1st year:

Basic metalwork training

2nd year:

Vocational training “metal forming“
Principles of electrical control engineering
Intermediate examination

3rd year:

Drop forging
Control engineering

4th year:

Pneumatics
Control engineering
You will sit a final IHK examination (process technician) at the end of the fourth year.

What you can do:

After successful completion of training, our metal processing operations provide you with varied and interesting work. Our specialist training enhances your perspectives and career prospects, e.g., of becoming a supervisor or, with the respective further training, a senior technician.
