What you need:
Secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss or Realschulabschluss)
What you get:
Besides receiving theoretical training at a vocational training college, you will gradually be introduced to the skills and knowledge of a skilled electrician. Apprenticeship overview:
1st year:
- Basic principles of metal processing
- Basic training electronics/electrical engineering
2nd year:
- Specialist training in the fields of digital technology and general control engineering
- Creating and testing simple programs at small control systems and PLCs
- You will sit an intermediate examination during the second year
3rd + 4th year:
- Installing, connecting and commissioning various operating equipment
- Installing and operating software tools, parameterising drive and automation systems
- Creating and testing PLC programs
- Working at process measuring and control technology assemblies
- Modifying and altering machine functions
- Maintaining and repairing process control systems
What you can do:
After successful completion of training, our electronic and electrical engineering department provides you with varied and interesting work. Our apprenticeship also lays the foundations for further training, e.g. as a senior technician, an engineer or higher education.
